The cart icon shows the number of items in the user’s shopping cart.
The front end shows a simple icon with a colored circle.
The size and color of the icon are configurable by block controls.
If you want to display the detailed contents of the shopping cart, use the Shopping Cart block instead.
Block performance
This block is start with the shopping cart information loaded via the REST API. This design allows the block to be used on pages stored in a page cache.
The reason this approach is important is that similar functionality has been attributed to significant server load in other solutions (specifically WooCommerce).
